I took this picture during the monsoons and this happens to be one of my favourites. The ripples which are created when rain drops fall in the water-filled ditches are in-a-way very beautiful.Monsoons become my favourite season because of such beauties and the greenery all around..And Mumbai specially is blessed with abundant rains to keep the scenaries as they should be...This picture is also an attempt to capture that very emotion of monsoons...

Taken from a height in Mahabaleshwar, this picture of the landscape shows crystal clear blue water, high green mountains and strange light in the sky.The color contrast is splendid.

23

The main attraction in this picture is the mother monkey watching her two children playing.Nature and its wildlife indeed is beautiful. The background is plain which emphasises in the main subject. The photo was clicked in Mahabaleshwar.

22

Close up shot of the monkey man!!!This superb monkey kept us entertained in Lunavala with his splendid tricks and stunts..When i took out the camera to take a picture the monkey sat completely still as if posing for a photo shoot..

21

Close up of my favorite animal-A Dog..In this picture the eye of the dog is very innocent looking and holds a special kind of light..I captured this picture in the college itself which is the home for many a stray dogs...

20

Captured in Mahabaleshwar, this picture is one of my favourites. The zig zag pattern of the road which leads to the end of the cliff is something to look at.The mountains in the background are also important factors in this picture.

19

A lone fragile plant among those hard rocks, that is what that caught my attention...This picture was captured on Kharghar Hills...The green colour of the plant is enhanced in the surrounding of hard rocks...And it blooms out perfectly in rhyme with the stones...

The seeds of the sacred plant, according to Hindu mythology,"Tulsi".This again is captured at my place where it is worshiped almost daily. The colour is what attracted me to capture the image..The picture can qualify for depth of field at the same time.

17

This picture is a good example of depth of field, where the main focus is given to the small white flowers, which appears pristine. This picture is captured in my own house, where this flower grows in a pot.The size of the flower is really small, though it does not appear so.

The most important thing to note in this picture is the different colour patterns..Captured during sunset, the sky appears to be of three different colours. And the trees look wild but beautiful,in a silhoutte image.

15

A lone bud about to open its eyes to the universe.I was always attracted to flower buds, and so this picture came up..The back drop is very plain so that all the attention remains frozen on the main subject..

14

The colour contrast in this frame is the main attraction of this photo...The trees create a silhoutte image against the perfect blue sky accompanied with equally perfect white clouds..This picture was taken in Matheran...

13

The beautiful sky with its variously shaped clouds and a lone withered tree..quite a contrary idea i must admit, but i didnt think the outcome would be so gorgeous. The withered tree though associated with misery and sadness, adds charm in this picture. This picture was clicked in Panvel.

12

Shadows have always fantasized me...I always keep on clicking pictures of shadows and it entertains me the most...The image comes out to be elongated than the actual object and create an aura of mystery...I captured this picture in Nerul one evening when me and my friends were just walking down the road..

11

A very small wild flower which grows at Parsik, whose beauty we fail to see at times, but when i captured it on camera,my words stopped short for a while because the flower looked so beautiful. The colour of the flower is a major factor which adds to the beauty of the image.

10

I kept a watch on the rock and clicked a picture, but it has a very deep hidden meaning as well..Nothing can change time, not even a thing as hard as rock...Nothing can move it or alter it in any way possible..it is rightly stated that "Time and Tide wait for none"...This picture was captured on Parsik Hill...

9

This is undoubtedly my best and favourite picture...I clicked it through the front tyres of my bike and the spokes have come out to be unusually eye catching...The girl in the background has come hazy and is out of focus but still adds a charm to the picture as eyes go to her as well...A ccording to me,this picture is very attractive...

8

Just a wild stem of a wild plant clicked in a new light and close up angle..The image which comes out is quite adorable and likable. The leaf behind is the companion of this stem. This picture was captured on Parsik hill.

7

This picture was taken on Parsik hill, where i came across this child flying a kite. This kid was not very rich and his parents could not afford any fancy toys, but this child was quite content with what he had and wore a satisfied smile with an angelic light on his face. This inspired me to take this picture.

6

The landscape at its best..With the beautiful blue sky, floating white clouds, greenery below and a stretch of straight road which goes nowhere, the scene is just perfect..What immediately catches the eye though is the road and the variously shaped clouds..
The picture is taken from a height in Matheran.

5

Suicidal Monkey,i would dare to suggest. This monkey sat on the edge of the hills gazing thoughtfully at the sky.I found the situation quite funny and immediately captured it.This pictured was again clicked in Matheran.

4

On a trip to Matheran i came across this wonderful path which twists and turns its way to the jungle and mountains.I immediately halted in my steps to capture this beautiful road, which is filled with water when it rains and turns into a waterfall instead.

3

The best friend of Humans?Yes Dogs..Being an avid dog lover i captured Rocky,my friend's German Shepherd. This bread indeed looks the most royal and ferocious of all.

2

The sea and palm trees have always been the best scenary in my opinion. So in this picture i have tried to capture that very scene in the best way possible. This picture was taken from the balcony of a friends place in Versova.

1

A collage of colours-red,yellow,green and all of them bound together in a beautiful pattern..This flower is used in almost all religious ceremonies and considered a very sacred one...This picture was taken in my home town Hyderabad..
